FUNKCJONALNOŚĆ
SmartAVI’s DVN-16P matrix switch provides an easy and dynamic approach
to switching up to 16 high-definiton DVI-D video, stereoaudio and USB
2.0 sources. The switching functions can be controlled either directly
via the front panel, or remotely using RS-232, IR,
USB or TCP/IP. The switch comes with our Windows®-based software for
RS-232 control, SmartControl, which is easy to understand
and simple to use – a cornerstone of all SmartAVI products.
The switch features fully transparent USB 2.0 switching that allows for
USB 2.0 devices to be connected at the console. Flash memory
drives, USB cameras, and other USB peripherals can be switched between
up to 16 computers.
Another feature of the DVN-16P is EDID learning, which allows the
switch to emulate the DDC signal of the attached monitor to all the
attached devices, not just the selected port. It learns the EDID
information of the monitor and emulates it to the attached devices,
even
when their ports are not selected. This is very important because if
the EDID information is not emulated when a computer is booting
up, the computer will default to a low-resolution setting.
